French Camp

Built in 1852

San Joaquin General Hospital has a campus beautifully built in a place called French Camp, in Central California or what some people call the “breadbasket’ Farms, produce and livestock. I hesitate to call this area rural but long time ago it probably was.

I work in surgery and the laser operated who I asked in Mandarin. “ what is your name?” “Nope guess again” found out there is a population of Hmong. An ethnic group from East and Southeast Asia. “ Interesting I of course G’d it

« Early roots: The Hmong trace their origins back thousands of years to the Yellow River valley in China before moving south due to political conflict and pressure from the Han Chinese. [12345]Southeast Asia migration: During the 18th and 19th centuries, many Hmong migrated into the mountainous regions of Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, and Burma. [12]The Secret War: During the Vietnam War, the U.S. CIA recruited a “Secret Army” of Hmong soldiers in Laos to fight against communist forces ». I never heard of Hmong and now I know. I will continue to say » My teachers are getting younger and younger. It’s a wonderful experience being here if only for a few weeks. Plenty of opportunity to live in solitude and when my soul is quiet I get so much more out of this contract than anticipated. Appreciation of harvest season, a time to reflect about all the goodness and work in trauma hospital with some really smart seasoned people. Zaijain
